Dean Wilt, owner of The Country Gold Jukebox on PalTalk.com. I’ve taken a little break from broadcasting, but I will be back.
Right now I’ve been busy writing 10 new songs for a CD I’m planning on releasing. This is going to be a tear jerker CD. Just warning everyone.
A lot of people have asked for a follow up to my biggest one that I wrote and was a #1 for me, “A Little Pink Ribbon”. Well everyone you’re getting your wish.
There will be a follow up to that song on the CD. I may be taking too long on this, but I want all songs to tell a story. I’ve been actively promoting Independent Artists on my radio shows for the last ten years, and I’ve made and met a lot of great friends doing it.
There’s been a lot of great people help me along the way, and I thank them for that. Ed Gowens, Donna Ray, Ron Hoysted, and a host of others.
I actually started as a Dj for Ron when WICR was going strong, and from there it just grew. Over the years I was able to interview a lot of Indie Artists.
My very first interview was with Julie Taylor, then Donna Ray.
From there I’ve interviewed Allen Karl, Donna Cunningham, Landon Dodd, Bobby G. Rice, George Longard, James Marvell, The Haworths, Paul & Betty Cole, Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan, Gary & Carol Bibb, Andrew Dean, and so many more.
If I missed anyone, I apologize. And the last thing is a big THANK YOU to the staff of Echota Records for taking me on as a member of their family. KEEPING IT COUNTRY.
